As for most businesses, the past few years haven’t been easy for Small Business Sidekick.
The landscape of the business world continues to evolve — for every size business. Whether you’re a small business or large business, you’ve been affected in some way the past 2 years.
Despite the roller-coaster that was the past two years, according to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Index, which is an indication of the health of small businesses in the US, small business confidence is at a Pandemic Era high after the first quarter in 2022.
I continue to work hard with my current set of long-time small business clients and enjoy watching their hard work continue to pay off as we (hopefully) are seeing the light at the end of the pandemic-era tunnel.
It’s been 6.5 years since the inception of Small Business Sidekick and after quite a bit of work I’m excited to unveil our new look for 2022 (and beyond).
I really loved my original branding & logo, but much like we’ve all had to do since the start of the pandemic, I felt like our look needed to evolve to better reflect our new, simplified services moving forward.
That said, I’ve introduced a more simplified font & layout for our logo (across all of our branding, actually), dropped the multi-colored palette wheel and applied a sleek new blue-to-red gradient across parts of the new logo.
While I’ve always done my best to help my clients with whatever questions they’ve had throughout the years, moving forward I’m going to be really honing in on what I believe we do best:
Examining feedback from my clients over the years, these have been the core areas that they continue to get the most value from and so I’m narrowing my focus to sharpening these services in 2022.
In addition to narrowing my service offerings to core strengths, in order to be more well-rounded marketer I’ve joined the American Marketing Association.
As with any industry, marketing evolves over time and by joining the AMA I can now access their top-tier, industry leading resources, tips and news that will keep Sidekick — and my clients — at the very forefront of marketing trends as they come out.
Despite some of these recent changes, the mission of Small Business Sidekick continues to be the same: to be an essential bridge between local small businesses and the digital marketing tools they need to drive their businesses forward.
